Milan have begun to test the waters for a deal involving versatile Hellas Verona wing-back Filippo Terracciano according to reports on Tuesday afternoon.

Milan are expected to make signings in the January transfer window to help cover a n injury crisis in the first-team squad, with reinforcements currently required both at the back and in attack.

Calciomercato.com report that Terracciano is on the list of potential incomings and that he could be an interesting acquisition given his ability to cover a number of different roles in both the back line and in midfield.

According to Tuesday’s update, Milan have begun to make contact with the player’s entourage and are hoping to reach Terracciano in the coming days to sound out the possibility of a move in January.

At the moment, there has been nothing but a request for information, however, the Rossoneri remain in contact with the player’s agent and movement could speed up in the coming days if Verona’s demands are not too unreasonable.

Milan could reportedly face competition from Fiorentina to land Terracciano, as La Viola are also on the lookout for a replacement for the injured Dodo at right-back.
